Ten Days To Go…

IMG_1328(31)

Just ten days to go before the start of Falling Into Place, the Dixon Hill e-course.  And here are ten potential ways you could use the course if you join us this autumn.

1.  As a means of getting to know your surroundings better.

2.  As a tool to help you explore a new environment.

3.  As artistic prompts to help you respond creatively to the world around you.

4.  As a way of finding your place in the bigger picture.

5.  As time out for yourself each day in the midst of a busy life.

6.  As a parent/child activity.

7.  As a celebration of the season.

8.  As a holiday (vacation) project.

9.  As a way to reclaim your inner child.

10. As a means of getting in touch with yourself and/or something bigger.

Chocolate In The Raw

20110918-105754.jpg

I've just spent the day with raw chocolatier extraordinaire, Amy Levin. Making chocolates. By the trayful!

Filled chocolates and coloured chocolates, pralines and giandujas, bonbons and truffles. And of course there was lots of tasting involved!

Amy - who is THE expert in her field - runs friendly and hugely informative classes from her home in the lovely Sussex countryside. For more details, see her website www.ooosha.co.uk.

Time To Reconnect

IMG_1328(33)

As summer slips into autumn - or winter slips into spring - it’s an ideal time to reconnect with the world around you….to see it with fresh eyes and experience it in new ways.

Falling Into Place, the Dixon Hill e-course, begins on October 3rd.  And its precise purpose is to help you do exactly that.  It will have you engaging with your world in every possible way - physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, imaginatively, sensually.  We leave no stone unturned!

Whether you’re on the cusp of autumn or of spring, why not experience it the Dixon Hill way?  Everything you need to know - including how to register - is here.

The Call of Squam

DSC_0064 (6)1

To all the friends who are making their way, today and tomorrow, to the woods of New Hampshire…..I’m thinking of you!

Squam Art Workshops hold a very special place in my heart….and I can’t pretend I don’t wish – in the deepest part of me – that I was with you all.

May the woods and the lake and the gathering of creative souls work their usual magic.  I wish you the most amazing time….and can’t wait to hear all about it!
