Every Cloud...

every cloud

So far as weather goes, August has been - frankly - HORRIBLE!

Cold, wet and unbelievably gloomy. Dark, dreary, depressing and dire.

Get the picture?

But….in the rare intervals been showers and downpours, there’ve been some very pretty rainbows.

Black clouds, it seems, have colourful linings.

I know what you mean Helen! I can't believe that I have had to wear my Autumn fleeces on so many days/evenings this 'summer'. I spotted a rainbow here in Nottingham yesterday- they are so very beautiful and full of hope :) Lots of love, Milena

Nellie, That's a BEAUTIFUL rainbow!

We are also having very odd summer weather here. (Ha, you don't get exclusive British rights to talk about the weather!) It's been very foggy until sometimes as late as 2pm, and the fog would move in again by 6pm. Just the reverse of what "Camelot" should be like! :)

After almost 6 weeks (I lost count) of this, just yesterday and today, we are having a heat wave - a temperature increase of about 40F (22C) degrees in one day!! I hear by Wed. or Thurs., we are going to lose all that again! No rainbow, but dramatic nonetheless.

Enjoying every single blog entry of yours, even if I haven't commented lately. Thinking of you!
