The Sling: Day Five
Yep, the Sling is slung. And I’m feeling all rosy and glowing and virtuous. Not only did I exceed my target of £150 for Jessie’s Fund; I also outslung the donations (final tally: 201 items). So I’d like a big virtual pat on the back, if you please!
A huge thank you to everyone who helped me get there….to all my oh-so-generous sponsors….and to everyone who offered encouragement via e-mail or in the comments. Couldn’t have done it without you all.
In truth, there’s still plenty to be slung around here. But I’m inspired and on a roll. So the slinging shall go on.
The final thank you present goes to Kellen. Thanks so much, Kellen. Jessie‘s Fund and I are very grateful.
I’ll be back on Sunday to announce the winner of the ‘best reason for slinging’ prize. Any comments you leave on this post before then will still qualify for consideration.
In the meantime, I’m going to treat myself to a mini rest. I’ve earned it!

Keep slinging - practice makes perfect!
I'll hereby dub you "Nellie the Junkpile Slinger". :)
Looks like a slung well done! I just had to say that. Great job Helen. You have inspired me, as I inspired you, to have renewed vigor for slinging. Sling on.
How do I hold my virtual hands up in very real horror? :)

It's supposed to be an honor, not horror! :)
Congrats on exceeding your target. Everyone has benefitted - you for gaining space, Jesse's fund for your great donation and all who have enjoyed following the sling and hopefully been inspired to clear some space themselves.
Thank you Helen
