A Tough Job
Thursday, February 10, 2011 at 10:02 PM
I'm in Spain! In a house filled with yarn (and I mean filled with yarn!).
I'm here at the invitation of a lovely lady called Amal who's a fabulous fibre artist. She also happens to own an idyllic retreat house which I'm checking out for possible future escapades.
Please don't pity me, basking in the sunshine on your behalf....plucking oranges and grapefruit fresh from the trees.....eating lunch on the terrace overlooking the Mediterranean. No, no, no, don't feel sorry for me!
It is, as they say, a tough job. And yes, somebody's gotta do it. :)

wow!! sounds amazing!
Just what I need to visualise this morning Helen....it is GREY here.....thank you for the sunshine and do try to enjoy that tough job :~)))
Oranges, sunshine and yarn... What more could a girl want??!! Very exciting! A winter snow storm is whipping it's way through here as I write... Spain sounds an idea dream just now. VERY exciting, Helen! Enjoy... Happy Days ((HUGS)) P.S. I'm closing my photo blog... but my main blog will keep going. ;o)
I'm envious, Helen! It was -9 in Vermont this morning -- that's -22.7 to you. Your photo was a welcome splash of color in this world of gray and white.
My idea of heaven :)
Had a look at Amal's work and realise what a tough job you have surrounded by all those wonderful fibres AND sunshine as well - you are so brave. Continue to struggle on and try to find some time to enjoy yourself!!
