Treasure at the Fair

Tomorrow my partner-in-crime and I are doing our first craft fair together.
I'm so excited to be working with Claire. Besides being a good friend, she's a seriously talented textile artist.
Tomorrow we're launching our Treasure Books: little blank journals to be used for special purposes - as sketchbooks, scrapbooks, notebooks or photograph albums. They have quirky concertina folds; the pages have hand-drawn borders - either pen and ink or machine embroidered; and most of them fasten with pretty ribbons.
There are piles of them here just waiting to go to the fair. Small treasures hoping to hold greater treasures.

I am confident the inside of these journals are whimsical and lovely. I know you and Claire have had a lovely time working alongside each other in preparation. Hope you sell out and have orders for more. (unless y'all are ready to go to the next fun project and leave this one for another day) Enjoy yourselves. Aren't girlfriends GREAT?! That is the best part of the project.
So how did the fair go? Did you sell all your beautiful sketchbooks and journals? They will make wonderful X'mas presents!

what beautiful books! and this post has me humming a lullaby that has been sung so many times in our house.... the sooner you sleep, the sooner you'll wake, tomorrow we'll go to the fair!
