Thanks for your email Helen. It was wonderful to hear from you. I must say I envy you people in Europe just being able to hop across to the "continent", and to be able to visit such amazing places. However, my country is pretty amazing too - but in a different way.

Other European countries used to seem a long way away....until I lived in America. There, I got a completely different perspective on distance! Now, the continent does seem a mere hop away. And, yes, we're very fortunate! :)
